Various factors pulled the people to migrate to the city. Of those 17% of them migrated to pursue higher studies, 17% for employment in IT industry. 6% for employment in Service Sectors, 6% business 4% each for employment in Manufacturing & Automobile Industry and 14 % migrated for other reasons. This shows us that there is a strong potential for the education sector in Pune followed by Business community and IT sector.
