A new 150m2 (approx 62 covers) catering facility is being developed at Leisure World Colchester, located at the front of the building as part of a £1.5m investment on the site. The centre attracts almost 1million visits every year and is well situated in a rapidly growing borough. There are 2 other permanent catering outlets on the site and variety of vending options.


The Council currently employs 6 staff to deliver the catering service (4 fte) and TUPE is likely to apply.

Expressions of interest are sought to develop and operate a programme of sport and leisure activity at the Tennis Centre for the benefit of Colchester residents. Commercial uses are acceptable. The 3.7 acre site has 22 courts -10 tarmac courts (6 floodlit) and 12 grass courts, a clubhouse building that includes changing rooms, communal area, kitchen and office and a car park.


Colchester Borough Council currently employs a full time Tennis Development Officer and TUPE is likely to apply.

Expressions of interest for the construction of Ise Skate Park, Kettering


We are seeking expressions of interest from suitable companies wishing to be considered for inclusion on the tender list for the construction of a concrete skate park off Grantown Close, Kettering. This will replace the existing timber constructed skate park.


Companies wishing to participate will be required to complete and return a pre-qualification questionnaire by noon on the 13th July 2012, from which a shortlist of tenderers will be selected. Companies should note that the scheme will only proceed if full funding is secured.
