Mike Rushin chief operating officer, a newly created role, overseeing NEC’s transit operations in North America. Pre- viously, he served as president of transit services for Transcare as well as president and COO of Laidlaw Transit Services. David Farrar, CFM, was appointed


director of real estate for FirstGroup America. He will support FGA by handling routine property management responsi- bilities, such as sales and acquisitions of real estate within the First Student and First Transit divisions. Tom Lynch, formerly a senior quality


engineer at Peterson Manufacturing, was named manager of OEM accounts. Lynch will oversee motorcycle product sales and


program development while leading Peter- son’s sales efforts with Harley-Davidson. Kevin Cornelius was named the new


general manager at Peterson’s Maxi-Seal division, where he will head up the com- pany’s day-to-day operations. Before joining Maxi-Seal as engineering manager in 2009, Cornelius had logged more than seven years in the same capacity for an- other major harness manufacturer. Amy F. Sichel, superintendent of the
