At weekends, there is plenty to do on site, but I have also been on many interesting trips. We’ve been to cities such as London and Oxford and to theme parks, as well as going on regular shopping trips to local towns.


Although I come from Germany and so am studying in a foreign language, the teachers have made sure that I have had no difficulty with the academic work. I like the educational system so much, in fact, that I am applying to study Psychology at a British university, and I have already received several offers.


I have had so many opportunities here that I would not have had in my previous boarding school in Germany. At Abbotsholme, for example,we play much more sport, and I have really enjoyed being in the rounders and hockey teams. I have also been made a School Prefect, and I am extremely proud of the trust that the school has put in me.
