Sport at Abbotsholme is great. My favourite thing about playing sport is definitely the matches. I love the way we put together in a match what we have learned in training. We play to win, although I also like to learn from my opponents! I play rugby in the autumn term, and lots of my friends play football in the spring term. My favourite sport is cricket in the summer term, but we also have an after-school cricket club that meets in the Sports Hall two evenings a week all year, so I can even improve my cricket skills in the dark evenings. At the moment I play for the U13s, but I’m looking forward to playing for the FirstTeams when I’m a bit older.
