Years 10 and 11


At Abbotsholme we do not do exams for the sake of doing exams, but inYear 10, life inevitably begins to focus on the forthcoming GCSEs. Most pupils take nine subjects at the end ofYear 11, but some will take more and some will take fewer. It all depends on the individual.


Everyone is examined in the core subjects, but there is an individual approach to the curriculum beyond that,with options selected from various blocks of subject choices.
