• From July 2009 through June 2010, 793 million pounds of all types of mushrooms were produced in the U.S, with a value of $925 million in sales.
• Annual production of agaricus (including button, crimini and portabella) mushrooms in the United States was 671 million pounds with a value of $886 million in sales.
• There are a total of 285 mushroom growers in the United States.
