SoCal Firm Introduces Revolutionary Cancer Treatment
T
he Nutritional Oncology Research Insti- tute is introducing a revolutionary alter- native cancer treatment protocol that has proven to be extraordinarily effective for a wide variety of cancers. Based in Ventura County, Nutritional Oncology developed and
researched the protocol. Founder and Director Mark Simon reports, “This treat- ment is nutritionally based, low-cost and is free of adverse and toxic side effects. The foundation of the treatment is a specially designed diet that alone will cause tumor regression. The diet is coupled with a natural and biocompatible form of chemotherapy involving the element selenium. Sodium selenite, which is one of the inorganic forms of selenium, is administered by IV injection or orally as a sublingual tablet. Vitamin K3 is also administered which enhances the cancer cell killing effect of the treatment. Tumors shrink very rapidly with the treatment and there are no negative side effects.”
The war on cancer was declared over 40 years ago by President Richard Nixon. Simon explains that little progress has been made in developing effective treatments for the major forms of cancer. Conventional treatments which include surgery, radiation, chemotherapy and other drugs provide some survival benefit while diminishing the patient’s quality of life. Hundreds of alternative cancer treat- ment options exist but few are supported by scientific evidence or clinical data demonstrating effectiveness. “Cancer is a highly misunderstood disease that does not respond well to unnatural and toxic treatments,” according to Simon. “Cancer does respond very well to specific natural treatments that address the root causes and underlying physiological imbalances.”

and director of the Center for Akashic Studies, will conduct a three-day work- shop entitled Your Extra-Or- dinary Life, in Bur-
L
bank on Satuday, June 2 and Sunday, June 3. Classes will run from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. each day. The event will be held at the Burbank- Media Center Holiday Inn, 150 E. Angeleno Avenue in Burbank. According to Howe, transform- ing your life from ordinary to “Extra Ordinary” begins by examining each point of a five-pointed star of con- sciousness anchored within the core of one’s being. Each of the five pillars holds a condition of consciousness with its own possibilities. They are, in order: Incarnation, Authority, Discipline, Responsibility and Com- mitment. Integration of each point is fundamental to satisfying engage- ment in the world. When each individual point is integrated and in harmony with the others, a perfect five-pointed star emerges, facilitating infinite inner grace to be revealed and radiated out into the world. Howe explains, “Once beliefs are recognized about each point, then conscious choices can be made, which are utterly critical at this moment in human evolution. When perceptions about concepts vital to earthly experiences are congruent with current values, people are liberated to enjoy life and ordinary lives can become Extra Ordinary.”
