Having meticulously planned your day, our wedding co-ordinator will welcome you upon arrival the day before your wedding, ensuring that every detail is as


you have dreamed for your celebration. This is the time for the Bride and Groom to relax and let the festivities begin…


The afternoon is yours to enjoy at your leisure, perhaps with a glass of


champagne on the patio, afternoon tea by the fire, or simply welcoming your guests with a stroll in the grounds, this is the perfect opportunity for you to


become better acquainted with the Hotel and the staff who will take care of you at your wedding.


We like to make sure the meal on the eve of your wedding is a memorable


occasion for those special guests spending the weekend with you. Dining can be as traditional as a 3-course dinner in the dining room, to something as relaxed as a BBQ on the lawn. If the ladies decide they want to monopolise the Bride one last time before she is a married woman we can even arrange private dining in the Roxburghe Room.


After dinner, retire to the Library Bar, take in the country house ambience, and sample one of Scotland’s finest selections of malt whiskies.


Awake the next morning to a traditional Scottish breakfast. Whether you choose locally smoked salmon, haggis or porridge, it will all be freshly prepared by our Chef, and his brigade. In adhering to tradition, the bride is encouraged to enjoy her breakfast in The Bowmont Suite with her bridesmaids, where she has no chance of encountering the Groom.
