Dining at the Roxburghe is about more than simply eating a meal; it’s about enjoying the finest in locally sourced produce, prepared by our talented team of chefs, in a refined and picturesque setting.


Our Head Chef, Neville Merrin has honed his extensive skills in three AA


rosette country house hotel, and now brings his passion and ingenuity to the Roxburghe’s modern British menu.


We shamelessly take advantage of the abundance of produce cultivated in the surrounding areas, proudly and responsibly sourcing from local farmers and estates.


All dishes are prepared by the kitchen. Let us know about any allergies and dietary requirements and the chefs will be happy to offer alternatives.


To complement the standard of food is a fine choice of wines including the Duke’s selection from his own private cellar and an extensive whisky selection for the after dinner dram.
