You’re tipped to be the next big thing. How does that make you feel? Its crazy I haven’t released my first single yet!


Tell us a bit about how all of this started for you? I would sing for myself and put videos up on YouTube for my friends to see. All of a sudden there were thousands of people viewing me singing. My first cover was OMG by Usher and Ne-Yo’s Monster was another. That resulted in Ne-Yo calling my house which was just amazing!


You are often compared to Justin Bieber how does that make you feel? We are being compared because we are both young YouTube sensations but our music is very different.


You’re on tour now. How is it going? Its really nerve racking as I am playing my own music. I’m performing originals rather than covers but everyone seems to like it.


Pharrell Williams has taken an interest in you. Is this someone


you would like to work wth? I spent a week in Miami with Parrell and did a number of tracks. We had Ludacris and Little Wayne in the studio! I also spent two days in LA with Ne-Yo.


Who are your main influences? I grew up listening to Michael Jackson and Stevie Wonder. They started my path into R’n’B and then I started listening to Usher and Mario and I love Drake.


Where do you see yourself in 5 years? I just want to be selling lots of

albums, doing well in the charts, writing music and touring. Oh and I’d like a Nandos in my back garden.


If you could have a superpower what would it be? Traveling can be really tiring, so I think I would opt for teleportation so I could be anywhere in the world at any time.
