Glittering dragonflies adorn this easy to do wall hanging. This pattern is easily converted into place mats, table runners or even a queen size quilt. I've de- vised a way to make our drag- onflies sparkle just like they do in nature. If you have never done applique, this is a very easy pattern to follow and the technique is easy to learn.

The Playpen is a very unique class. The class votes for a project and then those who are so inclined do that project while others come and work on their own UFO projects. Basically, we are a bunch of friends playing in the same quilting playpen once a month. We are always looking for new friends to join us. The instructor guides the students through var- ious projects and provides insightful tips and tech- niques on the current project as well as ways to make quilting even more fun. Currently, the class is doing the "feathered star" quilt called the Pepper Quilt. What is terrific is: You can join in any project at anytime and gets lots of encouragement and help.
