Stafford Chamber of Commerce supports business by playing an active role in many local partnerships to ensure Stafford is a great place to do business.

ogether with the business start- up agency, Stafford Enterprise it is a powerful lobbying force that
positively and effectively reflects the views and opinions of the business community and influences at local, regional and national levels. Stafford Chamber members receive identical benefits and services to members of North Staffordshire Chamber of Commerce (see list of services on page 32). In addition they receive their own quarterly publication “The Informer” and have access to locally run events and seminars.
‘STAFFORD CHAMBER UTILISES SURVEYS AND SOCIAL MEDIA TO INFORM AND ENGAGE MEMBERS’
In 2010 Stafford Chamber published its second Stafford Manifesto for business focussing on the key business issues including: • Transport • Enterprise and Employment • Skills • Environment and renewable energies It maintains regular dialogue with decision makers and has introduced a
pledge card to generate support within the local community. Stafford Chamber hosts a wide range
of events from meetings with the Agent from the Bank of England, Members of Parliament and Advantage West Midlands to meetings with representatives from local authorities. Business engagement is crucial and Stafford Chamber utilises surveys and social media to inform and engage members on the big issues that affect their businesses. The Chamber organises its own
networking events including Speed Networking the AGM and Annual President’s Dinner.
