The exciting news is that the remodelled ship will feature new balcony cabins on Decks 8 and 10, which have been literally carved out of the ship’s structure. These brand new cabins will offer plenty of space, both in and out and will be a crowning feature of the new ship. Averaging 220 sq ft and refitted and remodelled with new

furniture, décor and bedding, every cabin will be en suite, with a writing desk or dressing table, flat-screen TV and DVD player. There are also 58 dedicated single cabins so solo travellers can enjoy their cruise without losing out on space or facilities.

The bathrooms have also been unpacked and installed. The marble vanity areas are very attractive, as are the new bathroom floors. Sturdy but stylish grab

rails are being installed as I write this. The new, very comfortable chairs have been unwrapped. Some of the cabins are finished and look very inviting.

The Drawing Room, as you can see from the before-and-after images, has been opened up to create a light, airy and, above all, relaxing environment – day or night. located high up on Deck 11 and looking out over the ship’s bow, the Drawing room mixes the ambience of an exclusive country club with your own home. in the evening the place transforms into a sophisticated night spot with a piano bar serving cocktails, and often dancing and entertainment.

On Deck 11, foundations are being laid for the Drawing Room. This will be a very comfortable and multifunctional space. We’ll

be installing a help-yourself larder here stocked with treats to sustain you while you enjoy a book or the ever-changing views. You can use your own laptop or borrow an iPad to use the ship’s WiFi connection
