Dee Harris Joins Perlmutter Health Center


ee Harris is now sharing her expert knowledge about the importance of proper nutrition at Perlmut- ter Health Center, in Naples. The registered, licensed dietician/func- tional nutritionist and certified diabetes educator joined the practice in January. Harris, who earned a Bachelor of Science degree in nutrition at the Univer- sity of Georgia and dietician registration at New York Hospital Cornell Medical Center, is a member of the Institute for Functional Medicine and is currently studying toward certification. “Food is medicine,” she states. “I also look holis- tically at the entire person to strategize how to help the individual achieve health and wellness goals.”
