A wide variety of never-before-displayed racing machines will get your attention at the show
ne of the best things about the start of every new racing season is that the
race cars all look fantastic! But as we all know, the goal of racing isn’t
to look pretty – it’s to win. And it isn’t too long after the first green flag flies that the once beautiful machines start to collect bat- tle scars. Te 2012 edition of the Canadian Motorsports Expo will offer a wide variety of machines, many of which have never been seen before in Canada. Te Honda Indy Toronto is coming to
the show and will unveil the new Dallara DW12 IndyCar. Inside Track Drag Race Editor Bruce
Biegler’s Drag Race Canada will present – for the second year in a row – the Quarter- Mile Corral at the CME, featuring three outrageous dragsters. John Laporte is bring- ing his Nitro Express Top Fuel Dragster. It is one of just two TF dragsters based in Canada. Te Konigshofer Brothers will have their Ford Mustang GT Mountain Motor Pro Stocker, while three-time PMRA
champ Bruce Boland is bringing his 1941 Willys Pro Modified. Te CME’s Racers’ Corral will be bigger
and better than ever.
