Before the Canadian Motorsports Expo opens its doors, Darrick Dong (right) – the Director of Motorsports for Performance Friction Brakes – will have already had a busy 2012 racing season. Darrick has been in Daytona for the Rolex 24 and at the IndyCar tests at Sebring. People travel great distances to learn from this expert in his field and he’s returning to the CME for the sec- ond time in three years to share his knowledge with Canadian racing and automotive enthusi- asts. In this seminar, he discusses braking options for road cars.

For most kinds of racing, a trailer and tow vehi- cle are necessary when it comes to traveling to and from the racetrack. Cory Adams will provide attendees with information about hauling trailers and the documents that may be required. He will also discuss annual inspection stickers and when they are required, CVOR registration, class of li- cences, weight requirements and RVs.

More than a decade ago, two-time NASCAR Busch Series champion Randy Lajoie had an idea that turned into a dream. LaJoie began manufacturing seats for race cars. Not long after, he founded Te Joie of Seating. Lajoie has devel- oped a stamped, molded aluminum seat that fits 95 percent of a driver’s body.
