Health Care CAMPING FOR A CAUSE

Cliff Fawcett ’88, M.S.N., FNP, ATC Assistant Professor of Nursing Served at Cedarville Since 2010 Board Member and Volunteer, New Life Island Camp, Frenchtown, New Jersey

After a long academic year, Cliff plans his annual summer getaway — to Teen Week at New Life Island. “I became involved because the Lord used camp ministry in my life and in the lives of my children,” he said. Cliff enjoys watching God work in the students’ lives at New Life Island. “Camp is such a special experience for students,” said Cliff. “It’s a place where teens can put away all distractions and deal with the Lord on the important issues of life.”

As camp nurse, his job is to ensure that campers have a safe and healthy experience. For Cliff, this is also a time of personal refreshment and meeting with God. “I always come home from my week at camp energized,” he said. “If my schedule would allow, I would work at camp all summer!”
