This is an interactive camp for youth who have completed grades 9-12 and adult mentors. It will be a great experience for a youth council, youth offi cers, youth considering a “call” to ministry, youth serving on church committees, youth interested in being camp counselors, and youth who show a potential for leadership.
This is the covenant that we have our campers sign prior to their entering camp.
I enter into covenant with my Lord, my counselor, my director and with the other campers for the purpose of creating Christian community while at camp. As part of the covenant, I will:
• Expect the best of others and give my best in our activities together
• Expect to make new friends and to be a friend to others
• Gladly help others and gladly receive help when it is needed
• Participate in all activities as led by the counselors and director
• Respect the camp property and the property of the other campers
• Sing, celebrate and make noise now and then
• Allow my picture to be taken for camp publicity purposes
• Seek to grow in my relations with Jesus Christ by making the most of opportunities for prayer, Bible
study, worship and Christian fellowship. 19 REBUILD JOPLIN REBUILD JOPLIN
