eartfelt greetings to you, dear friends and partners, as we enter this holiday season. It’s almost unfathomable that we are fast approaching the end of another year, yet we are already looking ahead to 2012 with anticipation, excited about what God is unfolding to the glory of His Name!
H
Although this has been a year of unprecedented global turmoil, record breaking natural disasters, consternation over the Middle East and Israel, and continuing financial challenges, we have much to be thankful for. We who are privileged to know Yeshua and seek to know His will have been told to expect times of great difficulty as we near His return. This is not something to fear, but something that should spur us on to greater fervency—to work while it is still day, and allow hope to rise in our hearts, knowing our redemption grows ever closer! (John 9:4, Luke 21:28)
Together you and I have been working to take this life-giving message to Jews and Gentiles around the globe in ever-increasing scope and effectiveness. However, the largest community of Jews in the world— those in America—have been largely closed to the Gospel. As the world reels over the economic downturn, increased natural disasters, and a sense of impending doom, I am observing a change in the

spiritual climate. People want to make sense of it all. They are longing for hope and a sense of purpose and meaning for their lives. And this is certainly true of Jewish People all over the world.
As you read this Nov/Dec issue of Jewish Voice Today, I believe you will be inspired and equipped to reach out to your Jewish friends and neighbors with the message of hope you have received from Israel’s Messiah and the Savior of all mankind, Yeshua HaMashiach.
Jesus said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life” (John 8:12). As our family celebrates the Feast of Dedication, Chanukah, which begins the evening of December 20, we will be praying for all of our faithful friends and partners, and rededicating ourselves to the work ahead—taking the wonderful message of the Light of the World and eternal life found in Jesus, the Messiah, around the world—to the Jew first and also to the Nations.
From all of us at Jewish Voice, we pray the Lord bless you and yours this holiday season. And may you have a blessed and fruitful New Year!
