Celebrity Grand Marshals Bill Feingold & Kevin Holmes

Voted “Best of the Valley” radio personalities by readers of The Desert Sun for the past two years, Bulldog Bill Feingold and Kevin Holmes entertain thousands of listeners weeknights on 94.3 KNews FM in Palm Springs (also available online at KNewsRadio.com and via smartphone app). The Bill Feingold Show is a three-hour party from 7 to 10 p.m. that includes conversations with interesting guests from all walks of life and discussion about all of the duo’s passions from pop culture to local politics.

Bill and Kevin frequently welcome representatives of organizations like the Desert AIDS Project, McCallum Theatre and AIDS Assistance Program to the air. Many entertainers including Johnny Mathis, Robert Wagner, Lily Tomlin, Jim J. Bullock, and Esai Morales have made their way to the Feingold Show. Local celebs including singers Mary Wilson and Lorna Luft, authors Christopher and Anne Rice, and actresses Suzanne Somers and Bobbie Eakes have made their way to the Bulldog’s studio.

In April 2011, the McCallum Theatre was host to Bulldog’s Disco Bash, which featured legendary dance music artists from the 70’s and played to a rockin’ full house. Feingold and Holmes also frequently emcee or take part in a variety of other community service activities including the annual galas for The Living Desert and Mizell Senior Center.

Debuting on Saturday mornings in November 2006 as a once-weekly show, Feingold moved six months later to a single-hour every weeknight format. In March 2008, the program expanded to it’s current three-hour format and has become a sensation with listeners young and old, conservative and liberal, religious and agnostic, straight and gay. Today, the Bulldog fends off calls to run for local office knowing that he is at his best with the pulpit of the airwaves and making him a favorite for visits by politicians regardless of party affiliation.
