Hub hubbub Yamaha has had a long history of educational partnerships.

Our music schools have partnered entrepreneurs and passionate music educators globally for half a century. Since the 80s we've supported schools with music workshops. Since the 90s we've partnered

primary and secondary schools with our music school offerings, later extending this to music services and nine months ago adding our new Class Band wind band project. Music service partners find that the quality of our teacher training adds significant value to their offer to schools. It transforms the group-teaching capabilities of staff, boosting young people's attitude to learning and social bonding in what they see as 'a real band'. We partner conservatoires and specialist music schools to support outstanding young musicians through a range of national and international music scholarship programmes. We collaborate with British and global artists – in classical, jazz, rock and pop music – who share our vision of inspiring the next generation of young musicians. Now, there's a growing hubbub of embryonic music education hubs, which will collectively provide music education to local schools and communities. So, with Yamaha's half-century of proven partnership success, it's perhaps unsurprising that they look to us as a long-term and trusted educational partner, with a global brand and PR punch that can turbo-charge our collective ability to move the mountains that lie in our path. We are in conversation with many new hubs. If you need

help moving your particular mountain, we'd love to help. Bill C Martin,
