Rotherfield & Mark Cross Bonfire Carnival
Carnival time is here .- The day’s activities start at 1.30 pm with a market and events in the Village Hall, North Street and displays, including historic vehicles and music, in the village square. The torch lit carnival procession will start at 7.30pm with fireworks and a bonfire at 10.00 pm. Around 5,000 torches will be used and the procession, including marching bands and floats, will be about a mile long but there will be no fairground this year. Charities supported this year are: Hospice in the Weald, Rotherfield Sports Club and Argos Hill Windmill Trust.

Symphony Orchestra The RTWO’s 90th season is brimming with diversity and first class soloists. The new series begins with Freddy Kempf performing Beethoven’s Third Piano Concerto. The concert conducted by Roderick Dunk, also includes Brahms’s Symphony No.3, a compact meticulous materpiece.
