Local , we hope, gives you an idea of what the printed one will look like. Currently a larger version of this is printed in the Quercy region and over 21 000 copies distributed annually. We feel that there are a great number of businesses and people in the Gers region that would appreciate a local magazine written in English.

In the Quercy, people find the magazine helps draw together people, their business and charitable activities whilst celebrating all that is very best in the stunning region in which we live.


We hope to get a printed version of The Gers Local sorted either for the February or the June edition next year. So if you have a story to tell, a charity to promote or you feel that your business is suitable for advertorial material, then please do get in touch.

The magazine is free for people to pick up and so we are needing to build up a list of distribution points - so if you know of a bar, cafe, shop, office or hotel that receives many English speakers then please let us know.


The whole cost of the magazine is covered by advertising and so naturally we are looking for businesses that would benefit from this exposure. We want this advertising to be affordable to all and so we will do all we can to keep the costs down. Please see the website for details.
