MACY’S PASSPORT PRESENTS GLAMORAMA 2011 Macy’s Passport presents THE charity event of the fall fashion season,


Glamorama Artrageous, featuring haute fashion, with hot music and even hotter celebrities. This year’s show brings fashion and entertainment together for one unforgettable night, as mulitalented singer, songwriter, producer and musician Cee Lo Green—known for his most recent chart-topping hit “Forget You” as well as co-writing and singing Gnarls Barkley’s “Crazy”—is the headliner. Topping the list of featured designers is Armani Jeans, Bar III, Calvin Klein, Karl Lagerfeld for Impulse, Papi, Tommy Hilfiger, Tracy Reese and more! The evening concludes with an over-the-top “artlandish” post-party at CalMart in Downtown Los Angeles. The 29th annual Macy’s Passport Presents Glamorama 2011 benefits AIDS Project Los Angeles and Project Angel Food. MEN ALIVE FALL AUDITIONS When you join Men Alive you’re doing more than just becoming part of a


choral group—you are becoming part of a family. Men Alive strives to provide a welcoming atmosphere in which anyone will find opportunities for musical excellence, camaraderie, support and lifelong friends. The group is set to hold auditions for men interested in becoming part of the Men Alive family onSun- day, September 11, from 1 to 5 p.m. The audition includes a simple singing of notes and scales to determine vocal range, a few simple aural tests and singing a portion of a song. In 15 minutes time, the lives of those who make the cut will change forever. Those who don’t sing are invited to join the non-singing fifth section of the group, “Hearts Alive,” to volunteer behind the scenes. The Anthony Shadduck Trio , is set to perform a long list of musical luminaries throughout the event at Paradise Restaurant and Piano Bar onSaturday, October 1 , from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. According to organizers the dining room was completely full the entire day last year, so reservations are necessary.
