Throughout the year, NYTW’s Public Programs enhanced public discourse by creating opportunities for explora- tion of the themes and questions raised by NYTW’s theatrical productions.

Public Programs

AfterWords and Panel Discussions During the 2010/11 Season, NYTW organized a series of post-performance discussions designed to provoke further thought and dialogue about the produc- tion and artistic process. These open conversations with featured artists, schol- ars and knowledgeable professionals gave audience members the chance to explore each play through an aesthetic, historical and/or political context. This year, NYTW hosted 16 panels reaching an audience of approximately 1,000 people.
