Navigating MTLA’s Website


The MTLA website offers trial resources, research tools, and immediate access to information. Like most websites, the more you use it the more comfortable you become. Listed below, are quick references that can help you get the most out of the MTLA website.


Logging On to MTLA’s Website


1. Go to www.mdtriallawyers.com 2. On the left-hand side click on “Member Login”, enter your username and password


3. Click “Login” Forgot Username/Password


1. Go to www.mdtriallawyers.com 2. On the left-hand side click on “Member Login”


3. In the “Site Login” dialogue box, click “I forgot my Username or Password!”


4. Enter your e-mail address (it must match the one on file at the MTLA office) in the pop-up box


5. Your username and password will be e-mailed to you in approximately five minutes


Searching the Defense Expert Database


1. Go to the MTLA website and login


2. Move the mouse pointer over “My MTLA” on the top blue bar


3. Highlight “Depositions and Documents”


4. Highlight the “Defense Experts Database” under “Search”


5. Use the drop downs to search the database


Searching the Expert Challenges (Daubert)


1. Go to the MTLA website and login 2. Move the mouse pointer over “My MTLA” on the top blue bar


3. Highlight “Depositions and Documents” 4. Highlight the “Search” 5. Highlight Expert Challenges (Daubert) 6. Insert the last name and first name of the expert 7. Select the “Search” key


50 Searching the Deposition Library


1. Go to the MTLA website and login 2. Move the mouse pointer over “My MTLA” on the top blue bar


3. Highlight “Depositions and Documents” 4. Highlight the “Search” 5. Click “Expert Depositions” 6. Enter the name of the expert 7. Click “Search”


Searching MTLA’s Briefs, Motions, Forms


1. Go to the MTLA website and login


2. Move the mouse pointer over “My MTLA” on the top blue bar


3. Highlight “Depositions and Documents” 4. Highlight the “Search” 5. Click “MTLAʼs Briefs, Motions, Forms” 5. Select the “Document Bank” from the drop down menu


6. Select the filter by “Cause of Action” or “Type of Documents”


7. Click “Search” Searching MTLA’s Website


1. Go to the MTLA website and login 2. Move the mouse pointer over “My MTLA” on the top blue bar


3. Highlight “Depositions and Documents” 4. Highlight the “Search” 5. Click the “MTLAʼs Website” 6. Enter the keyword 7. Click “Search”
