MTLA’s Holiday Party Benefits CASA
MTLA members gathered at the Colum- bia Hilton on December 13, 2007 to cele- brate MTLA’s Holiday Party. The hotel was adorned in holiday decorations and over eighty members and sponsors mingled in the atrium and enjoyed the delicious food and wonderful conversation. This year, members donated over $2,200 to CASA Baltimore (Court Appointed Spe- cial Advocates). CASA is a non-profit or- ganization whose members are appointed by the Juvenile Court. The volunteers are committed to serving abused and neglected children by representing their voices in the Baltimore City court system. Many members were able to meet CASA’s Executive Director, Susan Burger, and CASA’s Assistant Director, Linda Koban. Both were on hand to receive MTLA’s contribution. A special thank you to all our members and we look forward to seeing you next year.
