He hates any wasted space in a home and many owners responded affirmatively to his suggestions for additional closets, storage space, butlers’ pantries or anything else that might accommodate his view of wasted space. Matt’s special expertise is trim and he loves the challenge of something new. One wonderful owner recently made his day by tearing a picture of trim out of a magazine that he had not as yet done. This was not the trim in the plans but Matt quickly determined what was needed to accomplish this, cancelled his existing trim order and proceeded. It was spectacular when finished and perfectly complimented the existing home. Rick, Susan and Matt commented that building has experienced a transition in the past few years. They have noticed more emphasis on energy conservation, green building and economy from their owners. They are members of the U.S. Green Building Council and have stayed current with green building practices and energy conservation as do their sub-contractors. Matt is also an EPA Certified Renovator.
