ideas and wanted them carried out her way. Chet and his subcontractors worked with her to achieve her goals. There were also problems with the original house that needed correcting. Chet took responsibility and made the necessary changes so that the final result would be what the clients wanted. The photos illustrate that the old portion of the house is now seamlessly integrated into the new. The interior floor plan works as beautifully as the roof line. Brook Davis is proud of her home and pleased with the results of a challenging job accomplished by Eagle River Construction.
Remodel
Diane Jackson, a local artist in Westmoreland County, has a studio which was architecturally designed in 1995 and completed as a family construction project. Certain portions needed to be repaired and upgraded because of normal wear and tear. Under Chet’s direction, the craftsmen
at Eagle River installed new windows and a deck, which had not been part of the original plan. This required designing and constructing railings and braces on a structure without right angles. A new entrance was also added. All of these upgrades were put in place to work within the context of the original architectural plan. Materials were chosen that are maintenance free. Diane is extremely happy with the results and has a beautiful fully restored environment to continue her painting of Northern Neck scenes. Eagle River also built The Shops at
Lerty where Diane has her gallery. Chet designed her space with an artist in mind. This included windows to bring in the natural light, wall space for displaying art, and work areas for custom framing. The primary goal of Eagle River Construction is client satisfaction. Chet Williamson’s policy is “Clients are taken care of regardless of what and how long it takes.”
Eagle River believes in supporting the local economy. The company hires local craftsmen and uses local subcontractors whenever possible. Chet believes “When you hire locally the community wins.” The company also sponsors local activities such as baseball teams and regularly supports local area charities
