Cale Installs 11,000th U.S.Meter, Launches Community Outreach

Cale Parking Systems USA has begun a program of sup- plying pay-and-display equipment, at no charge to its cus-

tomers, that is rebranded and used to collect donations for chari- ties of the customer’s choosing. “We are celebrating the installation of our 11,000th meter in

the U.S. by making a concerted effort to get involved in commu- nity outreach,” said George Levey, its President. “In communities where Cale has alreadymade a differencewith our business solu- tion, we are offering to provide ameter that is designed to collect funds for a charitable cause.” To accomplish this goal, the company is making the follow-

ing commitments: Donate a meter, which accepts coin and credit card

payments. Install and activate themeter. Donate a sign to be installed at themeter location. Themeter will be specificallymarked to distinguish that it is

for donations. It can be either painted with a special color or wrappedwith unique logos. All operating costs of the meter will be funded by Cale. The

costs covered will be all back-office monthly services fees, all parts required to support themeter, and all receipt paper. The receipts will be designed to provide the patron a tax- deductible receipt, noting the charity.

100% of all funds collected from the meter will be issued to

the charity. The meter will remain installed and supported by Cale for

as long as the customer believes the programis showing success- ful results. Levey noted that all four of the citieswhere this programhas

been offered to date are focused on the homeless: Salt Lake City, Indianapolis, Oklahoma City and Clearwater, FL. Cale USA, incorporated in Florida in September 2003,
