Federal APD Announces Enterprise Facility Management System


Federal APD has announced that its new enter-


prise facility management system, Element, is being planned for release later this year and will provide its customers with capabilities unmatched in the parking industry. Visitors to the 2011 IPI Conference & Expo in


Pittsburgh got a glimpse of the new system’s capabili- ties, including its modular architecture, interoperabil- ity, scalability and open, flexible structure. “We are excited to introduce Element into the


parking industry,” said Vice President/General Man- ager Mark McNicholas. “Federal APD has a rich his- tory in this industry and is the company that pio- neered self-parking. “With the release of Element, we will be continu-


ing our tradition of innovation and again changing the face of parking,” he said. It is “truly a system for any size operation and will change the way parking operations are managed.”
