Converting a table to ordinary text Sometimes you want to go the other way….converting a table to plain text. You select the table. On the Table Tools contextual tab, Layout, in the Data Group, choose the Convert to Text button. It asked how the information should be separated. Choose OK and it is back to being plain text.
