Ouspensky, has recently expanded from the Sarasota, FL area into the Tampa/St. Petersburg, Ft. Lauderdale/Hollywood and Miami-Dade areas. The school’s full program will now be available to partici- pants in these additional locations. It is said that the highest function of
man’s soul is the perception of truth. The expansion and deepening of his rela- tion to himself and to the world is the expansion of knowledge. This process of acquiring knowledge, representing our function in the world, is performed not by the intellect only, but by our entire organism, by all the body, by all the life, by that which we know and, still more, by that which we do not know. The program includes an in-depth study of the works of P. D. Ouspensky, Maurice Nicoll and Rodney Collin, as well as training in sacred movements. Partici- pants will learn practical techniques of self-observation, learning how to apply their everyday circumstances to increase self-awareness and consciousness. Classes meet weekly in Sarasota,
Tampa/St. Petersburg, Ft. Lauderdale/Hol- lywood and Miami-Dade areas. Call Kay for more information at 888.889.9588 or visit

Sc hool, based in Davie, FL, was recently featured on The Today Show, MSNBC News, Fox News and Sun-Sentinel for its radical approach to education, affirming that there is a need for a different paradigm in education. Sunset Sudbury School is not just
a little different from what most people think of as a “school”. Instead, it is based on a democratic model that takes student empowerment and child-directed learn- ing to extremes. Its fundamental premises are: all people are curious by nature; the most efficient, long-lasting, and profound learning takes place when initiated by the learner; and freedom is essential to the development of personal responsibility. In practice, the students initiate their
own activities and create their own envi- ronment. The school provides a setting in which students are independent, trusted, and treated as responsible people. Sud- bury graduates move into their adult lives as self-confident, articulate, resourceful and motivated individuals. Sunset Sudbury School is proud to
celebrate a successful first year, in which it operated on a shoestring budget, rely- ing on volunteer staff and donations from the community. Nevertheless, enrollment grew by 30%. Future plans include a Summer Camp and a site remodeling. Sunset Sudbury School,
