Already a massive success worldwide with its Si Compact 24 and 16 models, the Harman Soundcraft Si Compact range expands with the release of the Si Compact 32, capable of delivering 40 inputs to mix, while maintaining the no-compromise power-packed DSP functionality of its smaller brothers. The Si Compact features 14 main busses (all with dynamics, delays and BSS graphic EQs), four matrix buses, four dedicated FX buses, four full-time Lexicon effects engines and a range of option cards to interface with other systems such as Aviom, CobraNet, AES/EBU and MADI. All Si Compact models can connect via MADI to the new Compact Stagebox, adding remote connectivity to these great value digital mixers.

The VL400 Spot luminaire uses a 400W MSR Gold 400 MiniFastFit lamp to provide 9,000 lumens of output, plus 14 fixed colours on two independent colour wheels for rich colour projection and snap colour changes. In addition, a dual-purpose mechanical blade system provides smooth timed fades or variable strobe effects. The VL440, VL770 and VL880 Spot luminaires all provide brilliant colour mixing through the three-wheel CYM colour assembly based on the widely praised Series 3000 color system. Plus they each have eight standard colors on a fixed wheel, a coated glass dimmer wheel, a separate dual-blade strobe system.The VL440 Spot has a 400W MSR Gold 400 MiniFastFit lamp providing 9,000 lumens of output. The VL770 Spot is complete with a 700W MSR Gold MiniFastFit lamp producing an impressive output of 15,100 lumens. And the VL880 Spot has an 800W MSR Platinum 35 lamp providing an output of 19,000 lumens. The VL400, VL440, VL770 and VL880 Spot luminaires all have an independent armature with frost glass and a second, independent armature with a rotating and indexable prism; plus both the frost and prism glass are interchangeable. Each luminaire also has one gobo wheel with seven rotatable and indexable positions, and a second gobo wheel with ten fixed positions.

The CueCore is a stand-alone lighting controller. The device is completely solid-state, with no moving parts; it is an extremely secure and low-maintenance installation control solution that has only a minimal power consumption. All operating and programming is done through its dynamic Web 2.0 Interface. Con- nected to a browser, the CueCore unfolds itself into a lighting console and show controller. Connectivity features include: dual DMX-512A output with optical isolation; one DMX-512 input with optical isolation; MIDI input, thru and output; SMPTE; four GPI; Ethernet, Art-Net or OSC, VisualTouch compliant; and the ability to link multiple CueCores. Lighting console features are available to the user via the Web 2.0 Interface, these include 1.024 channels, 256 cues with fade and hold time, a command-line interface, and capture DMX and Art-Net. Show Control, RDM Manager, Recorder, and Monitor function are also acces- sible via the Web 2.0 Interface. CueCore also has a built-in Kensington lock, an optional Din-Rail mount, and a power cable retainer.

The Digital Technology Series amplifiers with class D final stage are available in four models. The XTDT3200 and XTDT3800 have two channels and supply power up to 1600W and 1900W respectively, per channel on four ohms. The XTDT4800F and XTDT6000F have four channels of 1200W and of 1500W, respectively, on four ohms. All the amplifiers in the XTDT range have been designed in switching technology so as to obtain greater power and yield, in a light- weight element, which is inconceivable for traditional configurations. The power supply also has the very useful active Power Factor Correction, which lowers the angle of phase shift between the power received from the network, and the active one, which represents the effective work. The amplifiers are equipped with an integrated controlled system, which protects both the amplifier and its load. The output signal control protects the load from high current values or from the presence of potential DC components. The approach that led to the production of new models is based on constant gain, which allows the preset- ting of the processor independently of the power of the used amplifiers. This gain can be set externally from 26dB to 44dB with steps of 3dB. In the case of highly professional mixers, the background noise of the speakers can be significantly reduced, thus decreasing the gain of the amplifiers.
