A new look for MPA
THE MPA National Executive Committee has approved a new logo and corporate identity for MPA (see the heading of our masthead details, left) which will replace the previous design over the next 18 months.
Members do not need to change their stationery, signage or websites immediately. The new graphics will be available for quali- fied members from April onwards, and can replace the old style as and when you update or reprint. We will publish in a future edition a preview of the agreed versions of the new logo.
Awards put the date back – and the submission process ahead
THE Master Photography Awards return to Newcastle/Gateshead by popular demand for 2011, with an earlier weekend date of October 9th for the dinner.

The entry format is being further refined to allow on-line submis- sion of a digital file, and remove the need for all initial submissions to be accompanied by a CD/DVD.
Prints must still be sent to head office after uploading your digital file. Entry prints will be linked to digital files by the entry process. The judging process will be based on the print entry as usual.
Further details of the annual awards will be published in Master Photography as they are finalised.
Paperless publishing – update
FROM the April issue onwards, the normal reduced rate worldwide overseas membership will include a printable resolution PDF edition of each magazine, delivered by an email with download link. UK members can also access this electronic version at
www.masterphotography.co.uk Members in Europe, including Southern Ireland, will continue to receive the printed magazine pending any future increase in mailing costs.
