FGCU to Host Florida Renewable Energy Tour

earn about and be part of shaping our energy efficiency future by attending our local stop on the 2011 Florida Renewable Energy Tour, February 17, at Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU). A full day of informative activities and discussions will cover economic impact, financing, legislation, latest tech innovations and many other topics as they relate to renewable energy.
Visits to several LEED buildings and solar energy installations will be held, begin- ning at 9 a.m. A town hall-style meeting will feature presentations by many industry and organization leaders and state and local government officials, followed by a Q&A session and a cocktail reception.
The free event, part of a 10-city state tour, is presented by Florida Alliance for Renewable Energy (FARE) and hosted by FGCU, Florida Green Team and Gaia Hu- man Capital Consultants.
