Two Zero Balancing Workshops this Month
Z
ero Balancing is a meditative, expanded- consciousness experience that practitio-
ners say can release tension in bones and ligaments. Practitioner and licensed mas- sage therapist Alvina Quatrano, of Holistic Healing Arts, will lead an introductory class in the hands-on bodywork modality (eli- gible for state continuing education units)
Alvina Quatrano
from 6 to 8:30 p.m., February 8, at Journey Arts, in Naples. Elizabeth Allene Martin will teach a more advanced class that can be accepted as both state and national CEUs from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., February 24 and 25; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., February 26; and 9
a.m.to 3 p.m., February 27, also in Naples. “Zero Balancing is simply elegant, profound and transfor-
mative work,” says Quatrano. “It creates clearer, stronger fields of energy in the body and is aligning, grounding and stabiliz- ing. It’s great for anyone going through any kind of transition. A person comes away from a session knowing that they’ve been touched—altered—feeling aligned, grounded and deeply relaxed. When energy and structure are in balance, stressors can be shed.”
Fees: Feb. 8, $25; Feb. 24-27, $545 early registration, $595 regular. Journey Arts location: 2950 Immokalee Rd. Ms. Mar- tin’s location: 15191 Cedarwood Lane, #2702. For more info or to register, call Quatrano at 732-266-5276 or visit the Zero Balancing Health Association at
ZeroBalancing.com. See article on page 42 and ad on page 57.
