words, healthcare is not an impersonal concept but something much more personal. While our capacity and technology have changed dramatically since our early days, the basic concept of patient-centered care remains our clear and constant purpose. In June, we completed our 56th year of serving the health needs of this area. We are pleased to report that CMH completed its 2010 fiscal year with a positive bottom line [a very narrow operating margin of less than .05%] as a result of the hard work and commitment of our board, physicians, employees, volunteers and some personal sacrifices by our employees. It was certainly a challenging year, and pending healthcare reform creates uncertainties for us in the future.

Community Memorial Healthcenter is proud of our role and our status as an independent nonprofit community resource. We are directed

by a dedicated volunteer board whose only concern is to maintain the tradition of providing excellent health resources and care for people in our community. Community Memorial Healthcenter continues to be recognized in the top 10% of hospitals in the nation and state for providing the highest quality care, and we are proud to provide such care for you and your family. While each year presents new challenges and opportunities, our purpose is clear and our aim is constant. We are pleased to offer this snapshot of our Healthcenter, and we thank you for your support.
