Authority (RPA) broke ground Sept. 4 on a new 930-space parking structure in downtown Reading. Located across from the Sovereign Bank Arena, the new precast structure, designed by TimHaahs, will alleviate parking demand resulting from current and future development in the area. The garage will serve patrons of the planned adjacent Doubletree Hotel and Con- vention Center.
