BATTERY PARKING GARAGE OPERATOR RFP Project No.: 09125
The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) is seeking to retain a full service Parking Garage Operator, to manage the operation of MTA Bridges & Tunnels’ Battery Parking Garage, at 56-80 Greenwich Street in lower Manhattan, which includes approximately two thousand one hundred (2,100) self-parking spots and other retail spaces. The qualified operator should have extensive experience in oversight of parking operations, be able to identify financial growth opportunities, and maintain and improve a first-class urban parking facility.
The term of the contract shall be for forty-eight (48) months from the date of award of the contract.

Project due date for the receipt of proposals: Monday, November 16, 2009 at 4:00 PM local time. No late proposals will be accepted. The RFP document is expected to be available on or about September 28, 2009.
All proposals shall be publicly disclosed in the agenda for the meeting of the MTA Board at which the transaction will be considered for approval.
