Automated Valet’s AVPMTechnology

Named PCI-compliant Automated Valet’s operating system, AVPM, has met

all the requirements of the PCI Security Standards Council and been designated compliant. The AVPM system offers features that enable on-site credit card payment, as well as online credit card payment. Several of its clients include major airports that offer

online scheduling and payment for valet services. Others offer payment options at kiosks and handheld devices offered by valets. PCI compliance identifies that the AVPM system has

safety measures in place for these credit card transactions that meet standards that best serve the customer and pro- tect customer account data. Compliance refers to the poli- cies, procedures, network architecture, software design, and other critical protective measures applicable to the valet system and its operation. Automated Valet Founder and CEO Ken Gulec said

that his team worked hard to provide PCI council with the necessary documentation and information needed for PCI- compliant status and that the success of the effort is rewarding.
