The position of Executive Director is responsible for the direction and oversight of all activities o the Yonkers Parking Authority. The Executive Director supervis- es a staff of approximately 40 profession- al, technical, clerical and blue collar per- sonnel. The position is responsible for the negotiation of labor, landlord and vendor contracts, establishing parking fees and hours of operation as well as the develop- ment of strategies to maintain the Authority’s revenue stream.


HELP WANTED QUALIFICATIONS:


Candidates must have a minimum of three years experience in the management of a large government division AND an addi- tional four years experience in the man- agement of a high volume municipal park- ing operation.


Additionally, candidates must be experi- enced in implementing and overseeing revenue controls, working with security and police entities and be familiar with security systems utilized in public loca- tions.


Municipal parking experience within the Northeast region of the country is preferred.
