DFWAirport Selects Skidata for New Revenue Control System


Skidata Inc. will deploy a parking


management solution for Dallas/Fort Worth InternationalAirport (DFW), the third-busiest in the world. The contract provides for a turnkey solution for park- ing access management at the airport,


including hardware, software and tools for administration. Implementation is scheduled to be completed in 2013. DFW’s current parking control sys-


temwill be replaced by a Skidata solution to manage more than 40,000 parking


spaces for air travelers and airport employees. The company says it was awarded the contract based on its experience in centrally managed large-scale ParkingAccess and Rev- enue Control Systems (PARCS). President and CEO Tom Rollo

2000 in New Jersey to promote and distribute Europe-based Skidata AG parking solutions in the U.S.. The company’s 10th anniversary in North America is marked by the launch of the DFW parking management sys- tem, its largest U.S. project so far. “Skidata has deployed innovative


parking solutions for the Munich, Zurich, Montreal, Abu Dhabi and Amsterdam airports, among many others,” said Armin J. Cruz, VP of Parking at DFW. “Our success depends on reliability. We analyzed the Skidata technology used at the Munich airport very closely and are confident that it will provide us with the sophisticated solution … that meets our specific requirements.”
