Students to perform ‘Nutcracker’ at Grove Park On Dec. 13 and Dec. 15, the Emma and Johnston chorus students will perform a choral arrangement of Tchai-


kovsky’s “Te Nutcracker” in the great hall of Te Grove Park Inn to kick off the holiday season. Te program will feature music from the ballet accompanied by narration from the students. Both performances will begin at 11 am and are free and open to the public.

performance of “Te Best Christmas Pageant Ever” at 7:30 pm on Dec. 11 and 2:30 pm on Dec. 12 at Owen Teatre in Mars Hill. Adapted from the best-selling book by Barbara Robinson, this classic


Christmas tale follows a couple as they struggle to put on a church Christ- mas pageant cast with the Herdman kids – probably the most inventively awful kids in stage history. Tickets are $5 for adults and children are free.
