THE THREE MUSKETEERS European powerhouse Constantin Film is behind the ambitious 3D version of the much-filmed Alexandre Dumas swashbuckler about D’Artagnan and the Musketeers. THE SUICIDE SHOP French director Patrice Leconte is using stereoscopic 3D for his first animated feature. The aim is reportedly to create imagery akin to that in a pop-up book. The producers are Entre Chien Et Loup, Kaibou and La Petite Reine and the film will be distributed in France by ARP. The Suicide Shop is adapted from the bestselling novel by Jean Teulé about a family who sell the equipment needed for suicide. WALKING WITH DINOSAURS 3D The $65m 3D live-action feature Walking With Dinosaurs 3D is a spin off from the BBC’s hugely popular Walking With Dinosaurs TV series. The film will be co-directed by Pierre de Lespinois of Los Angeles and Alaska-based 3D studio Evergreen Films and BBC Earth’s Neil Nightingale.
