Not only that, even though it’s a right hand body, closer inspection reveals that the full-toned, matched and calibrated set of Wilkinson staggered pole, alnico- powered single coil pickups are a left hand set, meaning that the polepiece sequence is also inverted, providing a unique tonality redolent of one of the most legendary guitarists ever...
Especially as the bridge pickup position is also inverted meaning that the pickup bass side sits nearest the bridge with the treble side angled forward from the bridge!
Otherwise, the cool-looking, unique- sounding ‘FILLMORE’ offers all the other impressive build quality and features found in the Vintage V6 range. A comfortable, accurately-sculpted body; smooth, easy-to-play, mid-depth C- section neck, and a full complement of Wilkinson hardware designed for premium guitar performance.
