By Road: The Loop Head Peninsula is easy to get to. It is less than a one hour drive (56kms) from Ennis, County Clare, taking the N68 road to Kilrush and the N67 onward to the Peninsula. Buses also depart daily from Ennis (on the National Train grid) to Kilkee. If you are coming from County Kerry, the Shannon Ferry is perfectly located, connecting Tarbert in North Kerry to Killimer in County Clare — just a 20 minute drive to the Peninsula. You can reach us within a 2 hour drive from Galway; 3 hours from Cork; less than 4 hours from Dublin and just over 4 hours from the Rosslare Ferryport.

Access by Air: By air, the easiest way to reach the Loop Head Peninsula is via Shannon International Airport. The Peninsula is just over a one hour drive (76kms) from the airport. There are regular scheduled flights to Shannon, all year round, from mainland Europe, the UK and North America. Visit www.ShannonAirport.com for the latest flight details. Loop Head is less than 4 hours drive from Dublin Airport and less than 3 hours from Cork Airport.
