GLAAD CELEBRATES 25 YEARS OF ADVANCING EQUALITY The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD), the nation’s
LGBT media advocacy and anti-defamation organization, will mark its 25th anniversary on Friday, December 3. “GLAAD at 25” will recognize and celebrate the people and events that launched GLAAD’s work to amplify the voice of the LGBT community. GLAAD’s Chaz Bono, Wilson Cruz, Amber Heard, Michael Kearns, Kathy
Najimy, Holly Robinson Peete, Doris Roberts, Jean Smart, Bruce Vilanch, Ste- ven Weber and more are among the celebrities to be honored. They will be joined by GLAAD’s founding members Jehan Agrama, David Bohnett, Dean Hansell and Michael Keegan to honor Jonathan Murray of Bunim/Murray Productions, who will receive the GLAAD Pioneer Award for his ground- breaking work to bring stories of LGBT people to Americans as Executive Producer on shows including The Real World, Road Rules and Project Runway. Richard Jennings, former President & Executive Director of GLAAD, will also receive the GLAAD Founders’ Award. “GLAAD at 25” will kick-off with cocktails at 5:30 p.m. The program begins
at 7:00 p.m. at the Harmony Gold Theatre, located at 7655 Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles.

ARTFUL THINKING ORGANIZATION PRESENTS PAULA POUNDSTONE Don’t miss this one-night-only intimate comedy special featuring
Paula Poundstone and benefitting the Artful Thinking Organization (ATO). Formed in 2009, ATO’s mission is to engage in artful activities related to educating the public about HIV/AIDS and Breast Cancer as well as providing prevention program information on these two very important health issues. The organization’s founding philosophy is to treat the whole person, and that includes heavy doses of artful and creative activities. The nonprofit provides programs in tandem with community-based events that educate, enlighten and assist the community in making informed decisions about their health and sexual practices.
