MEN ALIVE PRESENTS “DESPERATELY SEEKING SANTA” Men Alive – The Orange County Gay Men’s Chorus will kick off its 10th Anniversary Season of song with
“Desperately Seeking Santa,” a fun-filled and action-packed holiday concert sure to put you in the mood and remind you of the reason for this very special season. As the curtain rises on Men Alive’s holiday concert, the weekend of December 3-4, the North Pole is all— atwitter because Santa Claus is missing and the toy machine has broken down! Hundreds of excited elves are desperate to get him back to the North Pole in time to deliver all their terrific toys to all those good girls and boys. So the Men Alive ragtag team of reindeer takes off on a rollicking race around the world, searching high and low for Little Saint Nick. But their only clues are from his Twitter feed, and they seem to arrive somewhere just as he has taken off once again. Will they find him in time? Or will Christmas be ruined this year? Attending this concert is the only way to find out for sure. Under the direction of Artistic Director Rich Cook, Men Alive presents three performances of “Desperately
Seeking Santa” on Friday, December 3, at 8 p.m. and again on Saturday, December 4, at both 3:00 p.m. and 8 p.m. The beautiful Irvine Barclay Theatre located at 4242 Campus Drive in Irvine will serve as the venue for all three performances of this family friendly show. Seating must be reserved, with ticket prices ranging from $35 to $49. Tickets are available by calling The Barclay at 949.854.4646 or online at
TheBarclay.org.
